Tailored, one-on-one training sessions to help you reach your goals. The initial consultation takes place in your home. Follow-up sessions can take place in your home or a third-party location, depending on what best suits your situation and goals. After our initial consultation, you'll receive a detailed behavior modification plan customized specifically for your family. After follow-up sessions, you will receive written overviews and updates to your plan.

The initial consultation lasts up to 90 minutes and is $150. Follow-up sessions are $100 for 60 minutes.
In person service areas: 15-mile radius of Racine, WI. If you're located nearby but outside this range, feel free to reach out—I may be able to accommodate you with a small travel fee.
Supporting rescues is close to my heart, and I’m here to collaborate with organizations to meet their unique needs. I use concept-based training which allows dogs to learn important life skills that are transferable to any environment - including the adoptive home. These 3-minute games are easy for fosters and adopters to learn and use with all the dogs in their lives. Services include:

Hi, I’m Katie, founder and behavior consultant at KR Dog Training, where dogs and their families learn to thrive. As a Fear Free Shelter Certified professional, an IAABC Shelter Behavior Affiliate, and an Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Trainer, I bring years of experience and education to every training session. From working hands-on with hundreds of dogs in rescues, shelters, and private homes to completing mentorships and continuing education opportunities, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs and the people who love them find more joy and fulfillment.
At KR Dog Training, I take a concept-based approach—rather than focusing only on obedience, we build skills that help dogs navigate the world with confidence. During our sessions, you’ll play interactive training games, implement enrichment strategies, and develop practical management plans to create sustainable, long-term results for your family.
