Customized Training for You & Your Dog
Private sessions provide personalized coaching to help address reactivity, fear-based behaviors, and other behavioral challenges. Training takes place in your home for tailored recommendations that fit your daily life. If needed, follow-up sessions can also be held at a third-party location.

Initial Consultation (90 minutes): $150 | Follow-Ups (60 minutes): $100

Guidance & Support for Newly Adopted Dogs
The Adoption Success Path helps families integrate their new dog with confidence while preventing behavior struggles before they start. Whether you're a first-time pet parent or adding to a multi-dog household, this service provides expert guidance to set you and your dog up for success.

Follow Up Options: 4-session package ($320) | 6-session package ($450)

Empowering Rescues, Fosters, & Adopters
I’m passionate about supporting rescues and collaborating with organizations to meet their unique needs. Concept Training helps dogs to develop life skills that transfer to any environment—including their future homes. These easy, 3-minute games empower fosters and adopters to support dogs in their care. Services include:

Hi, I’m Katie (she/her), founder and behavior consultant at KR Dog Training, where dogs and their families learn to thrive. As a Fear Free Shelter Certified professional, an IAABC Shelter Behavior Affiliate, and an Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Trainer, I bring years of experience and education to every training session. From working hands-on with hundreds of dogs in rescues, shelters, and private homes to completing mentorships and continuing education opportunities, I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs and the people who love them find more joy and fulfillment.
At KR Dog Training, I take a concept-based approach—rather than focusing only on obedience, we build skills that help dogs navigate the world with confidence. During our sessions, you’ll play interactive training games, implement enrichment strategies, and develop practical management plans to create sustainable, long-term results for your family.
